State legislative leadership can join the United States of Teal by sending in their pledge cards and agreeing to wear teal during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September.
They can also show their support by:
- writing a letter to the editor of their local paper
- authoring a blog post about ovarian cancer
- passing out symptom cards
- linking to www.ovariancancer.org from their web site
- including a mention about the United States of Teal and ovarian cancer in their constituent newsletter
- submitting a statement into the record
